I was inspired to bring forth a Sacred Icon composition that invoked Ostara, Maiden Energy, and a feeling of New Beginnings and steping thru a portal to a new way of seeing, feeling and sensing.
This image is in celebration of Spring… it is a bit of a journey backwards to meet the maiden energy in ourselves, as well as an activation to glimpse this energy and bring it forth into all of our new creations for the coming seasons and cycles.

Description: What fills your Chalice? What drains your Juice? How can you bring more balance into your life by harmonizing the elements of Fire and Water? What brings you deeper into Love? These are the questions Bridget invites us to explore.
Some years back Bridget came to me, in a vision, that was more like a full body sensor experience of being in communion with her, she taught me how to shed the sadness of my ancestors grief and she showed me that there was a direct line of connection alive inside me, back to my ancestors, if I so desired to tap in and follow her guidance. It wasn't easy this meeting, there were lot's of tears and a kind of inner dissolving of tensions, from generations of ancestors having forgotten the old ways and yet there she was so bright and clear inviting me to own something deeper in myself, a whole lineage of women's wisdom. I understood that through her gifts of fire and water, we learn to adapt, and transform, things are not always as they appear, and that as women it is so important that we tap into our deep elemental creative energy.
This collage was made this Imbolc 2023, in that same energy and love of communion with this powerful mistress of mystery.

“April’s Aphrodite”

April, in the Roman calendar is spelled Aprilis, meaning "to open”, to flower expand and discover ones self renewed, in the renewing land as spring surges into blossom. Recently I came across this paining, by John William Godward, of a woman lounging in her yellow shift, it reminded me of that relaxed feeling one can have on a warm spring day.
As I have been longing for the deep greens and bright yellows, and soft pinks of spring, I felt drawn to bring some really bright colors of spring into the picture.

“Womb Healing” is one of the first Sacred Digital Alchemy collages I made in 2011. I made this collage as a personal healing collage for myself and published it on my Blog, since then this image has been used over 22,000,000+ times on all kinds of websites, related to womb wisdom, womb massage, womb healing, womb work, rites of the womb, sacred menstruation and the feminine moon time mysteries.
Recently in 2022, I made some revisions to the image, and I am now releasing this newly revised version as A4 Prints & Gi’clees for framing, and as 5x5 square Altar Cards and 5x7 Altar Cards.
The Story and intention of this image…
One night in my mid thirties, I am dancing around my room, I was having fun being in my body, so I took some pictures of my belly, with my hands over my womb in the shape of a heart.
I am thinking about my relationships, I was thinking about all the creative projects I am working on. I am thinking about the ways in which the Magdalene and Mother Mary keep nudging me to share the womb codes through my art, so I create a quick piece of digital alchemy art…an image of my hands over my belly in the form of a heart, and the flower of life, with pink roses in the background. I call it "womb healing", I am thinking about how I want women to feel empowered and how I want partners to conceive consciously. I am thinking about how this healing in the world, that leads us towards bringing in new life in a sacred way, is what is needed most for the worlds healing. I am creating a visual prayer for my own healing and for the collective womb heart healing of the feminine & masculine.
I wanted to create an image that affirms, our vital creative energy, and it's connection to a larger lineage of remembrance.
Flash forward 11 years and I run a search on the internet of the image, and it's gone viral 22,000,000+ internet websites, have the image posted somewhere in their content, or on their Youtube.
This is the painful moment I realize the mistake of not having posted the image with a watermark. My belly/womb and the flower of life have taken on their own life, and seem to be one of the images many gravitate to, to share their “womb healing” work in the world.
Somehow, I have done it, I have played my part as an artist, and visionary in bringing forward the healing. It's actually really emotional for me to see my then thin 30 something belly, and the womb of all my hopes and dreams, being posted so much, it's like looking into 22,000,000 mirrors. She has taken on a life of her own, reflecting this soft gentle empowered place of the feminines creative power.
This image is about:
Re ~ establishing our connection with our innate pro-creative power, and honoring the flow of Love in our lives, which begins to align us with our connection with the Earth Mother and all of sentient life, being more sensitive we can honor all of life as Sacred. That is why it is important to let go of the shame and fear of our sexuality and embrace the intrinsic sacredness of our bodies, because the more we "live" lives that are in touch with our sacredness the more we will create a culture that honors the sacredness of all life.
Our Wombs ( and Haras for Men) being the center of our creative ~ procreative power ~ and our hearts being the manifestation of our innate ability to embody love. When these two energy centers are aligned, and working together, they become a kind of refined, aspect of our chakra system, which in turn empowers us to bring forth new codes for Living as Love.
This internal womb/heart union in the individual mirrors, the potential ignited when the Feminine and Masculine consciousness is in alignment , great things can be manifest from this union of consciousness.
